How many of you keep all of your security codes, passwords, and PIN numbers on a sticky note taped to the computer? Too many of them for that. How many of you rely on your memory? Too old for that. How about all of those scraps of paper you look for when you want to make deposit in the bank account and it is time to update the password? There has to be a better way.
Here is a simple little spreadsheet template for you to store on your computer. You can store it in whatever file you want to so it is easily accessible with a click. Call it Computer Security or PIN or something that a member of the family might look for it to find out how to access your accounts. I have mine stored in a folder called Look Here When I Die. Template for Passwords
There is always a new site being added or a password being updated for security. This will give you, your partner, and your family members an easy way to get into your accounts after you die so they can get money, cancel the account, or update files. Many of the items on the Survivor Checklist will be stored on a website and they will need a PIN number or code to complete the tasks. This can be stored in the same file on the computer with that checklist.
